Smooth operator, Barry Obama, likes his lady appointees to fit a certain mold. Appearance is taken into account when making an important selection and this man is a uniter. Well he claimed to be a uniter, at least... and I'll give him credit for attempting to unite the genders in at least a couple of his nominations. Perhaps the Napolitano and Kagan appointments were intended to placate the transgendered lobby, as either could easily pass for a gender confused victim of our cruel society.
Will Lil Sis look like Big Sis in three years (given that they are approximately separated by 2 1/2 years)? Both were born in New York, New York so their may have been been a steroid problem with New York City drinking water in the mid to late fifties. If there is another live-action Flintstones movie, the casting director should look to one of these two Obama appointees when finding the perfect Fred.
Of course, Big Sis and Lil Sis aren't in their respective positions based on looks alone. They share Barry's disdain for liberty and warped sense of right and wrong.
Big Sis is finally taking her job as Secretary of Homeland Security seriously. The problem is that Janet of the Apes thinks the homeland is Saudi Arabia. The World Tribune has a story on Big Sis border security plan, "Janet Napolitano offers to help put stop to illegal border crossings - in Saudi Arabia". Here's hoping that once the silver back gorilla helps the poor Saudis with their border she might consider ours!
Lil Sis has big shoes to fill, both in terms of outlandish liberal judicial activism from Stevens and in trying to literally measure up to her older sibling. Judging from her bio at Answers.com, she is just the man... err... woman for the task.
In 1996 she wrote an article in the University of Chicago Law Review entitled, “Private Speech, Public Purpose: The Role of Governmental Motive in First Amendment Doctrine.” Kagan argued that government has the right, even considering the First Amendment, to restrict free speech, when the government believes the speech is "harmful", as long as the restriction is done with good intentions.
"The road to Hell is paved with those good intentions" or so I have heard. It makes sense, considering that our nation's descent to Hell seemed inevitable once the voters had their say in November of 2008. I'm sure Lil Sis will help the Obama administration silence dissent and protect the floundering propaganda mills that are the traditional media. No doubt she will have that opportunity, given the lack of Republican spines in the Senate. Give it away, Goober!
Barry's version of "Girls Gone Wild" will be key to the fulfillment of his vision for America. Big Sis will target "right-wingers" as terrorists and focus on the Saudi Border while Lil Sis votes in the Supreme Court to give the "rock star" President Castro or Chavez type authority.
Speaking of Barry's manly lady appointees, how about that wife of the impeached alleged rapist?
